Kristen & Michael didn’t have their hearts set on doing engagement portraits. They aren’t big fans of having their picture taken, and were nervous about them seeming too cliche. In fact, they only have a handful of pictures of the two of them from the entirety of their relationship. We talked it over and decided to just have fun with it. I love that Michael proposed at the table where they had their first date – at Eatzie’s. We walked through their neighborhood, bought some wine, played with their dog, and they told me the story of how they met, got engaged, and some of their plans to elope to Europe this fall. This session was a nice break from the norm, and I hope you enjoy them as much I do!
